quote: yeah but still, we aren't justified in eating meat. We are taking other beings lives when we have alternatives in the health aspect as well as taste.
Did you totally not understand what was posted before? You are killing animals regardless if you don't eat meat. ITS A LOST CAUSE. if you don't like eating meat thats your thing, but dont try and push it onto other people as well.

Notice that we're not using all our power. If we did we'd have a lot more stuff and the world would be a lot more mechanized.

*shrugs* we still don't need to use all of our power just because we have it.

An unfair advantage? Think about how rediculous that is.
Since nature is a system without morals, fairness doesn't exist.

well maybe not exempt from it but we've distanced ourselves. We have an unfair advantage to other animals who don't have technology or medicine.

All I'm saying is if you're going to scorn humans for their technological advancements, don't tell us about it through your computer. And, again, how is it that humans are exempt from survival of the fittest? You neglected to answer my question.

don't forget.. it is the PETATARDS over at peta2 that came up with the "great" plan to protest the march of dimes.. LMFAO for those who don't know... they are getting all the little petafiles from peta2 so put up a page on the march of dimes site protesting the animal testing the march of dimes does... the best part is that everytime a person hosts a site there CIGNA donates money to the march of dimes.. lol lol thanks peta, i'm sure you've raised a good deal of money for them by now... lol lol

quote: *lightbulb* haha killing two falafel miesters with one stone. How about getting rid of the machines and having people work the fields. That'd solve the animal death problem and also raise the employment rate phenomonally.
time to crush that small lightbulb... Did you ever to think about production costs?food prices will increase at least 40%. Why do you think machines were invented in the first place? just for kicks?

Much like dead animals provide culinary inspiration.

Why do you people insist on throwing yourselves into the path of the machine of human progress? If you must shun technology, at least don't lecture others for taking advantage of it. Toil in your little fields, vegans, by all means. But don't deny my right to drive a combine. quote: People are exempt from survival of the fittest because we have everything handed to us. We don't have to hunt, grow plants, build our own house (to an extent) and we have modern medicine. Its obvious that we don't play by mother natures rules anymore.
Explain to me how people are exempt from survival of the fittest. Humans continue to exist because we are the fittest, dear. Just because our survival skills have become less physiological and more intellectual does not make our species any less formidable to compete with in the world. And don't spout any more of this "we don't play by mother nature's rules" crap. Because if you truly defined "Mother Nature"'s laws the way you insinuate, you would not be here talking to us. Now then, explain why medical progress (technology) is breaking nature's rules while Internet use (also technology) is not.

quote: I really don't care about the animals. What do they do for me?
mentally alot, they bring peace I mean life would be alot less interesting without them. No looking out the car window and seeing wildlife or having the joy of a companion animal. and so much is inspired by animals, movies, toys, games.
