I feel I need to put in my cultural 2 cents also: I'm Uruguayan, Austrian, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and that's about as far back as I know for certain.

50% German, 25% Irish, something like 10%polish or danish (which ever of the two is ten the other is 50% the rest is minute amounts of french, brit and lord only knows what else probaly some scot blood.

I demand compensation on the grounds that all the other races get money from our gov why not us.

I want reparations for my Irish, Cherokee, Welsh, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, French, German, Jewish, English and Scottish ancestors. Oh, and my Mormon ancestors (don't think they were persecuted ever. People would come into their communities and rape and kill them). My poor Cherokee relatives were "relocated" on the trail of tears. My Mormon ancestors were run out of Illinois and Missouri (and it was legal to kill Mormon males and get money for them in those states until the early 90s). My Irish ancestors were opressed during the NINA rages (and they were even in the US during the NINA rages). My poor German-Jewish ancestors were attacked by German anti-semitism (thank goodness they got out of there before WWII. I think they were actually all Christian by then anyways, but still. They had to change their name to protect themselves, and it makes tracing Family History VERY difficult.) I want reparation for the pain that I've had to bear trying to track all the name changes of them trying to avoid persecution. We just opened up another line because we found a name that a relative changed to avoid the anti-German mobsters in WWII in the US.

Not only do I have Irish blood in my family, I'm also half-Colombian. My Incan/Indian ancestors were oppressed. I demand reparations from the American, Spanish, and Colombian governments!

I want reparations for being Norwegian and going to a Swedish church. And I want reparations for being Irish.

I want reparations for my Polish, Irish, English, German, and Scottish ancestors' suffering and agony.

I should get double reparations, I'm half Irish and half Polish jew, possibly the two most descriminated against groups in Europe.
