I would keep 3rd world countries 3rd world. Sure feeding them is ok, but once they start to try and get up to the american level... can you imagine that?! they will use as much resources as us, and the ozone will be gone in no time.

I don't think marriage has to do with being spoiled. Like redrepublican said it's a part of their culture. I think America is spoiled, and we're eating too much and polluting our environment way more than we have to. For example, why is it that we HAVE to have strawberries in the winter? I think it's better if we stop having so many cars on the road for no reason.

Did you guys know that Sudan had been in conflict war for the last 22 years. You see some of the teenagers don't even know the meaning of electricity, water on tap not to bring in technology.

A country like America where a person can drive a gas guzzler to buy a cigarette down the street or stay as much as 5 hours on the internet daily is blessed but becomes spoiled when it doesn't recognise this endowment she has.

I get the cultarual part... i agree. But.. i mean look at the technology we have and the stuff we have compared to other people. we put in the media that people are getting obese and people are worried about getting skinny because they think the look fat and horrible. Well.. people in for example 3rd world countries would do anything for food. And then we have people in factories that build things for us. I mean, we are capable of making things for ourselves unless your dumb and dont know anything....

no I dont think america is spoiled...we just have more access to knowledge and resources and we take advantage of that. some of those countries choose to be poverty (not all, but some) the countries that live in their traditional cultural setting and ways of life choose to live like that. other countries cannot help their poverty but we have helped them some, they cannot expect us to drop our entire lives to help them. I do have compassion and sympathy for the people from these countries but if we drop our lives to help them with their problems we only bring ourselves down and we end up in the same situation and no one benefits. i dont think we are spoiled at all...yes amaerica may be fat and stupid but if all the poor countries of the world had money and a McDonalds do you think they would pass up the opportunity for a cheap burger? i think not...

ya and none of the American citizes are willing to do grunt work anyomore. somthing their ancestors did to make a living in this country.
which i believe is another reason all of the jobs are going overseas. but the marriage thing i think is a part of a different culture.
