Hey NOISEmakers...Has anyone been following the race for the Democratic Party's nomination for President. There are 10 candidates for the nomination - can you name any of them?

I know there’s a pretty big youth push behind Howard Dean (have you heard about Generation Dean?), but what about the other people. Anyone know anything about them?

And we know the Republican candidate will be Pres. George W. Bush, but how do you guys think he will do his second time around?

I know the election isn't for another year, but I kinda feel like we should be paying attention now.

shmeow, your profile says you're 28. Oh well, I'm not going to bicker with a Dean supporter. Btw, if you listed the correct state, where in MA do you live?

Meagan, how the hell can you say that you are a Republican, but then turn around and tell everyone to vote Green?

I am a Republican, so I do not really care about who is running for the Democrats. Also I can't stand Bush. Since I am like 9 months too young to vote next year anyway...I guess that is okay that I do not have a candidate in mind...My advice...GO GREEN PARTY!!!

Bush is going to win by a far margin in 2004. All of the Dems. are weak. As for Nader, he might as well just join the communist party.

I totally agree, but just to let you know, there are more than just two sell-out parties.

I'm monitoring the Libertarian race, because there are two actively seeking the nomination.

Currently, if things go as planned, the 2004 race between the Rs and Ds will be void of a third party candidate, unless of course, Ralph Nader tries to trend his way onto the presidential scene again (2000 was a fluke; it was "cool" to be Green).

Anyway, Gary Nolan is my pick for president, but it's highly unlikely he'll be in the debates, let alone the White House. But hey, at least I can sleep at night knowing I've never voted for a Gore, Clinton, or Bush.

The guys up in New Hampshire are watching this race as well, considering the fact a near-5,000 libertarians are planning a move up to that state.

Ah, should be good.
