Why wouldn't they exsist? Just because this is the only planet with intelligent lifeform that we know of, why can't there be others?

I hope aliens exist. Think of how pathetic it would be if our planet was the only source of life in the entire universe. That would be pretty sad.

In an infinite universe I think it'd be very surprising if there weren't other life forms out there. I doubt they're near enough that the existence of them will ever be confirmed though. But good for movies!

Wouldn't it be cool if there was a planet on the same orbit as us that is always on the other side of the sun so we never see it and don't know it exists? It'd be the same size and density as earth (otherwise it wouldn't have the same orbit) so it'd have the right conditions for life, probably. It's totally unlikely of course but is it scientifically possible?

well... why would we humans, be the only species in the whole universe? i mean, the universe is HUGE......It would be like saying animals are the only species on earth.Of course i belive in aliens. Some people r afraid of them cuz they think that aliens will take over the world. Just think of it this way, If we ever found life in space, the first thing we would do if we found life in space would be to kill them. NO WAY! we would wanna learn more about them! so....i think that there is other life out there....

I think that one day, people would probably be living on other planets like in the movie "Pluto Nash". I don't think there is aliens though.

I think it would be very big headed of us to think we were the only species in the universe. Of course i believe in aliens. They may not look like small gray things with big heads and black eyes. But i do think it's possible to have another form out there.

I believe that without a doubt there is other life in this universe. I mean, the universe is believed to be infinite, so why would life only exist on just one small green and blue planet? Of course not! Whether you believe in evolution or a higher being with almighty powers it still seems more than unlikely that we are alone.

They found supposed microfossils on a metorite from mars. And they turned out to be, in all likelyhood, simple carbonite structures that formed non-biologically. Too bad though. If we did find proof we'd have men there already.
