Question:
I have a younger brother who has autism. I really, honestly love him, but sometimes it's so hard to deal with him. Has anyone else had this same kind of experience?

Choices:
Please let me know if anyone else has had this same type of problem. It's so hard to love him just for who he is when the autism gets in the way.

Yeah. I have a brother with attention deficit disorder and asperger's syndrome (autism). I have asperger's syndrome too. My brother is nine and I'm 14. Autism can be good (Rain Man's card counting, Simon Lynch's patterning skills) to have.

my brother is retarded... not the same thing i know, but i kinda get where you are comming from. i try to look out for him and make him feel needed and even help him out but it's hard with his whole ADD thing.

other than that my grandma is on oxygen... haha, but thats prob pretty common. she's inspirational though.
