Why are people in this world so selfish? How come people can care less about people in need? Just walk right on by. How come people with billions of dollars don't donate thier money to people that need it? How about people with the whole day on thier hands get off their butt and help out! And not just complain about how bored they are? How come more people don't try to raise money? How come the media doesn't try to promote these things? Why, why, why! This drives me crazy! So if anyone here can bring up something to help out people at school, or anything. Or have any ideas, that would be great!

because people suck, thats why. just watch, we'll destroy ourselves anyway. its not pessimistic, its the truth.

i often wonder the same thing, and it really ticks me off too. I think the reason that this nation is so selfish is b/c although we are fortunate to have all the food, shelter, armor, and supplies we need....we dont have much love for each other. I'm thinking that, however, its only the average American person that has a pretty decent life and family that can act this way. I volunteer at a food pantry and notice many poor families coming in to take food and clothes for themselves and children...and, most are very loving to each other. I love coming in and seeing that.

so, overall, I think its a matter of knowing how fortunate we all are, and respecting that matter. How fortunate most of us are to have the money and everything else to spark up a family. Again, its a shame that the average American isn't like that...we're all taking advantage of our fortune; we need to get out there and help other people! Notice how happy most people are, even if they live in trash and poverty for countries...(okay, so not that happy, but at least thankful that they have their family and friends)
