IMHO, the palestinians really don't have a right anymore. The day Israel was founded. Palestine (then the west bank and the gaza strip + another country) and its allies, declared war on Israel. Israel kicked their butts and took the land of Palestine and retook Jerusalem. The palestinians fled to Jordan where they tried to make another "state". Over there, they did terrorist attacks on the Jordanian government. The Jordan King didn't stand for that and slaughtered the palestinians. Faced with such Brute force, the palestinians ran back to Israel where they now try to create a "state"

I don't agree with the Survival of the Fittest theory. It oozes Nazi ideology. The land is rightfully ours. Israel was mentioned in the Torah (as a Jewish land) 500 years before it was mentioned in the Qaran (as a country in the Middle East, not even as a site of Islamic anything).

I was agreeing though I look back and find it poorly worded, I meant not really in response to any anti-ireali folks out there who don't think Israel shoud be whrere it is

In my opinion, the Arabs lost their rights to the land a long time ago.
Imagine it in a parent/child situation: If a child is shooting a parent in the leg with a BB gun, you take the gun off them until they promise not to do it again. If they find something else to shoot you with, you find a more effective way of stopping them shooting you. This has escalated so much, that now the point of view I adopt is, how can a nation that willingly blows up innocent children on school buses, adults in the market etc be given their own land.

This is an interesting topic. The thing about it, is that the Israelis (Israelites) have a perfectly legitimate claim. But so do the Arabs. If we're trusting the Bible has historical (all theology therein aside), Abraham was given the promised land. By Jewish tradition, the birth right would have gone to Ishmael, father of the Arabs. Though Ishmael was of the lesser wife (Hagar) he was still older than Isaac. So, he'd have prior claim. But Isaac was of the higher wife (Sarah), as well as the fact that the rules can be broken. Besides, Abraham banished Hagar and Ishmael. He gave the birth right to Isaac. Esau and Jacob for example. Esau sold his birth right to Jacob. By default it was Esau's. He was older. Because of the Dinah-scandal (rape, circumcision, slaughter) Reuben, the oldest son of Jacob, had his birth right, and his tribe, revoked. So, the interesting thing, is that from a purely historical point of view, the Arabs have just as much right to it as the Israelis. (Now don't get mad. I'm for the Israelis here. But we're going on no theology here. Pure historical claim).
