I agree with Marine. You are pledging to your own god. It doesn't say christian god or catholic.

It meansd you pledge alligance to your own God, not just the Christian God. The Pledge alligance simply shows how thankful you are for everything America has given you. It is dishonorable that anyone can refuse to say it.
