NO it does not 'work for me.' They have their own different purposes, and that does not mean serving us. If what you say were ture then one could also say that women were put on earth for men. That certainly isn't right, and neither is using animals for our use.

1. The pig, same as any other animal(including humans), lives for its own purpose. We have no right to interfere with that purpose.
2. I know the food chain thank you. Fact is, we as humans can be perfectly healthy without the use of other animals. We don't need meat, dairy, or etc, other animals do. The food chain is flawed anyway. We put ourselves at the top, it doesn't mean we should be there, we just decided that we were superior(which we are not.) Since we ARE able to avoid harming or killing animals, then when we do harm them it cannot be justified. Humans are animals too. All have their own purpose and a right to live.

You know the other day, my hamster plucked the wings off of a fly and then ate it. Then I started thinking, doesn't the fly have a right to live. The hamster didn't get play-time for it that day. (Actually, I just was cleaning her cage, so she didn't get play-time with me.

Ok, good the error message is gone. Anyway back to the point. How can you eat animals and care about them? That seems very hypocritical to me.
And I will always question human logic considering that I am human. I won't question a cow's existance as I am not a cow. They have their reasons for living, and I will leave them to that. And posting comments such as the ribs thing only shows immaturity. A pathetic attempt to annoy me(Btw, you've failed). These sort of comments degrade human beings and lead me to have no respect towards omnivoric humans.
