If kill shelters were illegal, shelters all over the U.S. would be overflowing with unwanted animals. It would be extremely difficult and expensive to provide food for all of them. Also, unwanted animals at no-kill shelters end up living in a kennel for years and years and they go crazy from the sounds of other barking dogs they can't see and limited socialization and playtime since there are so many other dogs that require attention. It's simply not practical or healthy for a dog's pysche. It's much more humane to put them down then have them suffer pyschological damage.

So yeah, quit whining.
