LOL @ the original post. Yes I did know . . listen . . . cant you hear the screaming? . But I don't criticize people for eating meat . . . I mean I live in a hose with all omnivores and prepare most of the meals, So even though I don't agree with the consumption of meat, I would never criticize someone for eating it just because I don't.

The are a large number of Amino acids in your body. Many of these are produced by your body/ Except for 9 that we need vitally. These are called the 9 Essential Amino Acids. If we cared, Yellow, we wouldn't be making fun of vegetarians and vegans. But we don't care. I don't want to be a vegetarian. I don't care if I'll die earlier as a result. I refuse to give in to some fad just because it's healthy. I prefer the taste of meat to soy. That's all there is to it.

As they say, ignorance is bliss. Besides, my great-grandmother has eaten meat her whole life and is 92. None (or very few, I can't really say) of my relatives have died of heart attacks, clogged arteries, or colon cancer, or from any other meat-related illness or condition for that matter. All the vegetarians I know have ended up worse off for having a meat-free diet. My girlfriend went vegetarian for a while but it made her extremely sick. A vegan girl in my high school missed an average of 30 days each semester of high school during the four years she was there. Unrelated to her diet? Hardly. Prolonged or multiple periods of sickness result from a weak immune system. And since she didn't have AIDS, I'm willing to bet it was the lack of important nutrients meat offers. I'll let amp explain that bit to you.

Of course, I'm not about to criticize you for being a vegetarian. I'm perfectly fine with vegetarians who choose that lifestyle because of health or personal reasons (such as not liking the taste of meat). It's the animal rights freaks that I take offense at. But that's a different topic altogether. Go ahead and be veg. I won't stop you. But I sure as heck won't join you, either.

im sick of our pig headed meateating counterparts acting like victims when the possibility of a healthy vegetarian lifestyle is discussed then using crap like this as an attack on vegetarian lifesyles.

there was a time when a diet with meat was a healthy diet. that is no longer, unless of course you are eating organic and free range. blame your unsustainable, unhealthy and unethical farming practises for that.
