I started a project to encourage others- *cough* you- to make Halloween an opportunity to educate others about the importance of conserving the environment. Anyone want to join me? Make your own costume, hand out fair trade/organic candy (if you can afford it- sadly, i cannot), educational pamphlets, etc.

Well I think that, it's really not what the candy is. but you can do something for what it is wrapped in. which is alot cheaper cause i do agree that it does get expensive for doing things like that.
