Has anyone watched An Inconvenient Truth narrated by Al Gore? I really reccomend you have a look! Any doubts one may have about Global Warming will most probably be answered, it certaintly opened my eyes to the serious problems we face.

That movie is very inspiring. And while I don't believe, the world will end, I do believe that the movie has opened people's eyes. Because of the realizations of so many people, our world will make it through this

It's possible that the poles might shift position... But, like all other 'doomsday dates', nothing significant will happen.

do you believe the world will end in 2012?

I don't understand why religious people take non-religious things like Harry Potter and this and turn it into a religious thing...

My school showed this to the kids a year ahead of me. And, it being the conservative Christian school that it is, an upset parent called the school outraged. How dare we show such unsettling things to our children? How dare our school show some Al Gore made? How dare Christians be advocates for the environment?

They didn't show the movie to my class. They didn't show it to the class below me. Sad, huh?

not to say I don't love my school and the people who attend, but sometimes I wish that some of them would stop wanting to continue their lives without worrying about the world. To them, it really is 'An Inconvenient Truth".

(ha ha ha, I've been so cheesy tonight! It's awesome!)

PLEASE NOTE: not everyone at my school is like this. Only a few. Many of them show jsut as much compasion, if not more, than I do.

I saw this movie when it first came out, in the theater, and was completely riveted. That was the first time I started to really change my daily living habits and have an awareness about my impact on the environment. Recently however, I'm curious if there's been anything rebutting this film? It's been almost four years since the data was collected and I just read this article in the WSJ: http://online.wsj.com/article/...597505076157449.html that had me reeling after this one line: "The inconvenient truth is that the earth's temperatures have flat-lined since 2001, despite growing concentrations of C02", and surprised to see it corroborated by so many credible scientists (who are supposed to be the ones SUPPORTING the facts of cc, not denying them). Anyone have any thoughts on this?

when he was asked where he got all of his information for the hockey stick chart he couldn't come up with it.
also, the temperatures today are the same they were in the 1930's they lived through it and we can too
