Do you think that deer, quail, dove, duck, geese, squirrel, or even dogs and cats, should be able to roam free of their natural habitat w/o having to wonder if them or someone close to them is going to be killed? It's their world too, but we just don't know how to share it!

Based on what we know of animal psychology, most animals are incapable of wondering anything.

Besides, even if humans were taken out of the equation, animals would still die.

Or maybe I care about them enough to not want them overpopulated so that disease and starvation kills them, or that another animal cannot live in their area because a deer ate all of the food and destroyed the other animal's ecosystem.

There are other ways to care for animals out there. I just don't choose your way and opinion, and that is why I'm commenting.

Cats are an invasive species in most part of the world that could cause damage to fragile ecosystems. Other native animals as well (think deer), in overabundance, can destroy ecosystems, especially when their natural lands and predators have been minimized to the point that the land cannot sustain the numbers they used to hold.
