Project Green Hands is an inspiring endeavor of bringing Life to the planet by planting trees. In 2005, over 25,000 trees were planted in the Tsunami devastated coastal areas in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. In 2006, 856,000 trees were planted in just 3 days - a Guinness World Record. Through the project more than 7 million trees had been planted. The objective is to plant a total of 114 million trees. Guided by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, this project of Isha Foundation was formally initiated in 2004.
