people love animals, and these people especially animal rights activists (ex: PETA-tards) can't seem to grasp a very basic concept, with the exception of domestic creatures, animals don't like us. The world is not a very happy place. Killer whales are wonderful and beautiful animals but somehow animal rights activists have some conviction that their all shamoo and eat tiny fish. Well those cute seals and sea lions we all love? killer whales rip them in two. It's called a "killer" whale for a reason. Nature is a rough violent place and everyone who wants to live in "peace and harmony" with nature need to get a severe reality check. Cause nature doesn't give a crap wether you love it or not. The critters in the world will gladly kill and eat anything that won't fight back. The reason mankind isn't constantly fighting animals for survival is that we made it to the top of the pile and evolved to the point that critters have a hard time beating us. Now someone is going to want to call foul here because mankind lacks natural weapons. Well for one you've obviously never taken martial arts if you think the human body isn't a weapon, and for two we don't have fangs or claws or speed, so we got large brains and opposable thumbs and learned to make spears, traps and other weapons, as we got smarter, the weapons became more complex and humans could fight off the predators of the world and secure food stuffs. This allowed us to get even smarter and thus civilization. so wake up and smell the flames the world is not a pretty place, with or with out mankind's influence

Wrong. We do have to eat meat to survive. In the last 20-30,000 years, since agriculture came about, our brains have shrunk in size. Mostly due to the fact that most of our diet is now plant matter, when before agriculture it was mostly meat. If we all cut out meat completely, our brains will do nothing but shrink faster. The reason is because our brains are made of fat and protein. And meat has more grams of fat and protein than any plant, per ounce.
If we get dumber, we're fucked.

It's no worse than a seal getting turned into an Orca's plaything. They'll fling them out of the water with their flukes to break their spines. Sharks rend them limb from limb. Polar bears will eat them alive. No better, no worse, no different.

We are a product of nature. Of course we're going to be cruel and mean. Always. We're born that way and it will never change. Unless you're part Manatee.

Speak for yourself...
Come now, we aren't doomed to be cruel. It is a a part of our nature, but it can be overcame if we cared deeper and more.

What...? That is hogwash. I have never heard such a thing. Proof?
Perhaps some of us choose to be vegetarians because as human beings we have a conscience, we have the choice to absolve ourselves and stand up and say 'NO, that's wrong'. Animals hunt to survive. Humans no longer do.
It is not the fact that eating meat is wrong (though some may feel this way) it is the way we kill our food. We don't just kill it. Everything is automated. Cows are dragged by their legs and have their throats slit and they bleed to death. Do we really NEED to do this? Can we just kill them in a way so they can die peacefully. Besides killing methods people need to treat the animals better BEFORE the slaughterhouse. I would have no problem with eating meat if cows and chickens and pigs got to live in surroundings where they could wander and do their thing (ie free range meat). Unfortunately they are kept in cages and tightpens and they are treated like inaminate objects. When someone hunts at least the animal got to live like an animal. Don't they at least deserve some freedom?
As for meat being necessary. Technically it is not, in our modern times anyways because we know how to get protein from other sources, however, it is thanks to meat that we consumed enough protein to make our brains grow as large as they did. Our brains are NOT smaller, they don't just shrink. We eat more meat than our predecessors because we can cook it. geezus.
I just wish we at least respected animals and the goods they provide for us, but there is a great lack of respect in the world today.

I have no country to fight for; my country is the earth; I am a citizen of the world. -- Eugene V. Debs
animal rights tards alway say im "inhumane" because i hunt - hunting is human, i do it and im a human - that means it must be humane. everyone says "act human" so i can do anything i want and be "acting human." all these people are doing is say that because i dont believe in what they do then i must be a different species. its stupid and im sick of it!!!!
One an animal dosent have to go through cruel and inhumane ways in order to die.
you think that cats playing with mice is humane? You think that deep-sea fish luring their meals with an artificial light is humane? You think that fast hunting animals scaring the bejesus out of their prey so that the prey wears itself out so the hunter can catch it is humane? No, animals don't have to be killed to die, just have to be killed to be eaten and provide the other creatures (humans included) with life.
Please save this for me. I'll come back for you, love, I promise to.--Ludo
I must say that huumanity getting dumber scares the hell out of me I mean jesus christ look at us now

Dude...*sigh* One an animal dosent have to go through cruel and inhumane ways in order to die. Two to do so your like beating a dead horse. Yea I cant stop people from eating meat and you cant make me eat it. i can convince and so can you but it wont completly stop Anyways back to what I was saying a whale eats the seal whatever they eat it to survive, BUT BUT BUT dont say we HAVE to eat meat to survive. Uh wrong...there are other food groups out there you can eat. Also does a seal get hung in the air its neck slashed open and hung dangling and squirming and if they fall off the rope people kicking it. Does the seal get locked in and crammed with other seals in small cages barely enough room to breathe. Do they get dumped into scalding hot water. Hey i can keep goning, i can get my grandma thats Living BREATHING prrof to tell how they would spin a little bunny's head around and around and around till it basically died. Again anyways nature is cruel and mean yea whatever does that mean we have to be. And also I mean c'mon I really dont understand why on earth people try to change things that cannot be changed and instead work on things that can be. I would like to start a group like peta but not exactly cause people fighting for something that can never happen is bull. I mean you HAVE power try using it for something that could happen. Im not really for or against what your saying, but that got my mood a little better..hm..weird
