I know that some people are skeptical or indifferent about the fact that the substances that run their cars, power their lights, and of which many of their belongings are made will someday run out altogether. Some people simply don't care what happens in their own lifetime and for what they care the world can simply live with the consequences, but we can do something about it.
I'm doing a project about non-renewable resources and renewable resources at school, opinions, fatcs, graphics???
If they run out, what instant energy source can power man-made machines and replace the un-healthy oil wells?
Can someone plz write back?

Medeival times would be great. A stronger aristocracy and a more efficient social structure would be awesome. If depletion of fossil fuels can get us there than I think I'll go fill up my tank. Have fun in serfdome.

I think that if we ran out of fossil fuels then we would find a solution. Americans will not go from high class to medival that quickly. There are many other ways to power our world. Hydroelectric power, wind turbines, solar, and even nuclear if we could find a safe way to dispose of its products. And by the time fossil fuels run out, we probably will have already found a way.

Well there wont be anymore farming, or supermarkets. Driving a car would be the last thing Id be worried about. You can say good by to clean water coming out of your tap, or water coming out of your tap in general. No more plastics.

We'd be living like in midevil times, there wouldnt be a rebound either since oil wouldnt come back.

BTW there is no such thing as fossil fuel, ever notice the oil rich places of the earth had no dinosours or any type of life to begin with.

I know that some people are working hard to make the perfect "less-fuel-more-electric" car, but the truth is that global warming is going to happen whether we use mostly electric cars or not. I know from a reliable resource that someone in Europe made an air car that runs solely on air (they did tests to prove that the compressed air will not explode) and that may be our only option if all the fossil fuels run out.If you want to find out more details you can go to www.aircar.com.

Some that are being started now are ethanol, hybrid/electric (which require some fuel to get the charge started usually), and later come hydrogen fuel cells.
