I have bought and eaten tainted Alfalfa Sprouts for the second time in less than a year. Two different brands, both tainted. The first time, I felt icky for about 24 hours. This time I didn't get sick but I'm still mad. I'm mad because everyone likes to focus on Meat Recalls and say "See! I told you! HAHA!", while I'm damn near dying from eating Sprouts. I'm also angry because I love Sprouts, they're delicious on sandwiches. A sandwich without Alfalfa sprouts is an abomination.

ok. just that it's not only bacteria that may cause the problem. might've been something used in the growing of the sprouts.

simple. don't eat sprouts.

I have never tried alfalfa sprouts on sandwiches. But, I will, I'm always looking good, vegeterian things to go on sandwiches. Thank you for giving me an idea. Smile

There is a point in our lives where we can do what is easy, or we can do what is right.
