Does anybody know of anywhere I can publicly ridicule PETA other than here? I'm asking because I visited their site (I needed a good laugh) and they have a copy of their rejected Super Bowl ad. It is the cheesiest thing I have ever had the displeasure of watching and the general message was this: meat causes impotence. Doh! If that was true, the great majority of us wouldn't be here right now since our ancestors have been eating meat ever since they figured out which end of a pointy rock to stick in an antelope.

Oh sorry just for clarification I forgot to add that they defend terrorists by contributing money to their legal defenses. I assume that is money they made off of you buying leaflets you could have made yourself.

I'm glad that you are so passionate about something hippie, but just so that you know PETA does defend a lot of convicted domestic terrorists. I am talking about the members of ALF and ELF who destroy peoples lives by burning down their places of work and the such, so that is something that you might consider when you get so excited when you support an organization that promotes domestic terrorism. Oh and by the way I cant wait to protest too. I just need a pound of prime beef a grill and a trip to their headquarters. I bet they would get a kick out of me munching down on their frontsteps huh maybe I should throw meat at them. I do hope that you know this is the sarcastic side of me rearing its ugly head though. I respect your opinion and your beliefs . One more thing I just wanted to let you know that PETA does not offer that same respect to everyone else...sorry so so hard to beat down the sarcasm sorry my apologies truly.

I love PETA, they do a great thing by standing up for the animals and promoting animal rights! I think its great that they get the word out, because this is something that people should really know. I want to protest sooo bad, I can't wait till I get the rest of my leafletts and stuff I ordered!

Also Proud Liberal Democrat. PETA does ridicule a lot of peoples work. Take for example all of the people that work in the animal section of the production agriculture industry. They go as far as to ridicule everyone who eats meat. I mean come on now lets not be hypocritical here.

Well clpo13 PETA is very aggressive in the way the try to advertise their beliefs. They are self described "press ****s" who will do pretty much anything to grab a headline. They go after kids such as when their president Ingrid Newkirk stated something to the effect of that their ad campaigns are geared for children and always will be. They also put up billboards that are sometimes downright hurtful such as when they attacked Rudy Guiliani(hope that is spelled right lol) by putting up a billboard picturing him with a milk moustache and a caption saying got cancer and this was right after 9/11, so believe me they are trying to get attention in any way possible this is their biggest weapon. PETA does actively try to shove their point of view down peoples throats.

Hmm, perhaps someone can explain to me why everyone hates PETA. I don't lead a sheltered life, but I haven't been hearing anything about them or whatever it is their "shoving" down out throats.

Judeo-Christian evil? I fail to see where you are coming from in this outlandish accusation.

Exactly, they are wasting us when they kill us, which should anger AETP (Animals for the Ethical Treatment of People).

I'm just not willing to cut meat out of my diet. Besides, there are plenty of animals that would gratefully eat me if given the chance. I know this because I cam currently reading a book called "Mankillers" from the 70's about animals that kill and/or eat humans, it's quite interesting. The rank of animals whom kill humans is as follows from greatest killer to least killer: 1. Insects 2. Snakes 3. Elephants 4. Buffalo/Bulls 5. Alligators/Crocodiles 6. Sharks 7. Dogs/Wolves 8. Lions/tigers/leopards Of interest is the fact that without weapons, man falls easy prey to nearly every animal on this list. It is only our thumbs and our ingenuity that put us at the top of the food chain, where we belong.

These PeTA people have devoted their lives to a beautiful cause. How dare you ridicule their lives work. You must be for the un-ethical treatment of animals with your Judeo-Christian evil.

I always think it funny when PETA compares anything to the Holocaust because there is at least one big similarity to the two in my opinion horrific organizations. The Nazi party and PETA both target children to a huge extent through their propaganda and they call themselves "press ****s". The scary thing is that PETA is basically brainwashing kids to be animal rights activists, so for those of us who completely disagree with what PETA is trying to accomplish we are going to be fighting a whole new generation of radical animal rights activists.

I don't get how so many people can get mad at PeTa for getting in their face, when so many christians do exactly the same thing.
