 I belive that earth day is a way of giving back to the environment!!!Becuase you can plant things that will grow and will look beautiful in your garden.And spend time with family and friends!!!

I've always thought earth day is a bit of a cop out. It's like confession for catholics, everyone does bad things and doesn't care about them then we do a whole day or earth stuff or confess and we can feel better about ourselves and go back to ignoring the planet for the other 364 days of the year.

I like Earth Day. I support Earth Day and everything, but I don't always have time to plant a tree. I have planted several new trees this past year though. Just not on Earth Day. Oh well. I'll still celebrate the day b/c it is a celebration of our planet and our earth.

I don't like Earth Day. It's the one day of the year where everyone sees fit to criticize me for not planting a tree or shopping for groceries with a burlap sack. Of course, it'd be worse if they did that every day, but I'd really just rather be left alone when it comes to my possibly harmful environmental choices.

It's silly. We live on the Earth every day, not one day. And I planted a tree just yesterday. It wasn't Earth day? With the Earth Police come and get me for violating Class-Section;Parameter-IJJA-56553? I hope not. Of course, it probably can't HURT to have an Earth Day, and it might encourage a few lazy bozos who don't feel it's necessary to help save the world any day but Earth Day to actually do something at least ONCE a year, which is more than none.
