Should there be animal circuses???

I hate circuses. Clowns scare me. But taming a lion wouldn't scare me, Bushsupporter.

Exotic animals in circuses are depressing. Many of them have most likely been bought on an illegal wildlife trade. I feal worst for the big cats and the elephants, though. They are beaten or a regual basis. Elephants often are afraid of thing, like small, enclosed tents with hundreds of people inside staring at you. (that would make me scared). And tigers and lions just aren't meant to be trained. That's why they aren't domestic.

Agreed. Taming a lion with a whip and a small wooden chair is awesome. I doubt any of these so-called "animal lovers" would have the guts to do that.

good reference to the Roman circuses- the original circuses of the Colosseum. Just because ppl find it entertaining doesn't make it right.

wonder if certain ppl would feel the same way if their beloved wolves were treated as mere entertainment. just goes the mentality of those ppl who find dressing animals in human clothing and performing human acts as being entertainment. I'd rather visit a human freak show.

Seeing animals such as monkeys,elephants and more is wrong.these animals are being treated like sh*t in the cages.
