Week 51: World Malaria Day

Week 50: r-word
The goal of this event is to have a life-long commitment from the people to stope using the "R" word, and for those people to encourage others to do the same thing. This use of the word (retard) overshadows the abilities that a person has and instead, highlights the differences rather than exploring all of the things we have in common. The word is not appropriate to describe someone with a disability, nor someone who has done something goofy or strange.
