Week 10: Smiles and Hugs
A smile is an expression of happiness. A hug is a behavior that gives off a 'warm, fuzzy feeling.' All of this can brighten someone's day by just smiling at or hugging someone. Today go hug or smile at someone that you care.

Week 9:Feed Me Feed them Feed the World
Hunger exists everywhere in the world. It is a signal that shows that the body is running short of food. It is greater than AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis combined. Every day about 24,000 people die from hunger, and 12,083 of them are children. Some causes of hunger are poverty, war, and natural disasters. Poverty is the principal cause of hunger. About 780 million poor people are suffering from chronic hungerin developing countries who live on $1 a day or less. Please help them. Feed me. Feed them. Feed the world.

Cbrandy, please try to avoid posting double or triple posts. If you post something, and then decide you forgot to add something, there is a little icon at the top right hand corner of your own post that looks a a folder with a tiny eraser. If you click it, your post will re-open and you may edit what you said. Also note that there is a time limit to do so. Thank you.

I don't think that will ever happen!!!!!!

I know, but if it was ever achieved the populace could effectively control the economy through massive boycotting of whatever financial institution they chose. It's utopic at best but it sure would have a bigger impact than not eating fried chicken.

Week 8:Organ Donation "The Gift of Life"
Organ donation is the donation of organs from someone who is alive or had passed away. These organs are then used for someone else to save his or her life. In 2005, there were 28,108 organ transplants performed. However, today more than 92,000 candidates are on the waiting list to receive an organ, and the numver is still increasing right now. For every 12 minutes a name is added to the national organ transplant waiting list, and an average of 18 people will die each day from the lack of available organs for transplant. Please save someone's life by being an organ donor. Donate life. Done vida.

Week 7: Do not buy cocaine
As you all know, cocaine is bad for you. However, there are another reasons not buy cocaine. Farmers who plant cocaine are being ripped off by it since only less than 1% of the profits from the cocaine go back to the producers. Also, child labor is being used. They are breaking their backs and have to work themselves to the bone just for some people to high for a couple of hours. DO NOT BUY OR USE COCAINE.

Week 5: Celebrate Arbor Day

Long ago, half the planet's land mass was covered with trees. Now it it only less than a third.

In 1872, a man named J. Sterling Morton thought up an idea. His idea was to have a special day for just planting trees called the National Arbor Day. This started when 1 million trees were planted in Nebraska.

Today go plant a tree.

Recycled Items: This will help save natural resources. Plus, recycled items are as good as new raw materials, and they come at a reasonable price. Consider buying recycled goods, such as recycled paper.

Never look at the mass. Never look at the face. Look at the individual. Look in their soul. And respond.
