This is a incredibly sweet idea, and I want a piece of it. I dunno if any other churchs are hosting one of these events anytime soon, but I dare anyone who can to participate in the 30 Hour Famine. Experience the feeling of hunger for yourself, while raising money to feed kids across the world who feel it everyday.

Heh, for a while I tried to pay people honest compliments (You have a great laugh, I love your hair, you're so sweet..) but all I got were some weird looks - and I think some people thought I was making fun of them I dare everyone to add this website to their favorites right now. Here you can click daily to help feed the hungry. There are also some tabs at the top of the page that take you to sites where you can click for breast cancer, child health, literacy, the rainforest and animal rescue. So yes... Go to these sites and YN's J1C page everytime you come online and make a difference requiring basically no effort on your behalf.

Okay, well my dare was to give something to someone that could really use it on Valentine's Day, and I am going to send a shy kid in my school a chocolate and a carnation (my school is selling them). I'm writing to let you all know that I am taking my dare, and also because now I get to dare you! I dare you to tell 5 different people (that you don't usually hang out with/talk to) that they are special, or that you think they are a wondeful person. Your choice. I second this dare! Somebody care to take on a dare of starting a "Campaign for Respect" at school for this? I did it at my high school and it was pretty nifty. Our StuCo sponsored it--it helps to have a sponsor! If you want some resources or ideas to get it kicked off I'm your gal!
