Mariah Carey. I felt this board needed some musical accompaniment. It's a good song.

And then a hero comes along...with the strength to carry on...And cast your fears aside..and you know you can survive. When you feel like hope is goneee, look inside you and be strong. And you'll finally see the truuuth. That a hero lies in youuuu. ::Sway, holds up lighter.::

WOW! Eek I never thought it possible that I could be jam's hero!

That is one of jam's alter-egos, right?

And yes, I have done nice things for other people, even though I'm a baby-killing contradiction of an evil person.

Several people are my heroes. Not telling who, though.

I'm going to amend my list of two, and add Jake Gyllenhaal. Amazing person as well as actor.

I had to do two five paragraph essays on this subject in english class, so it made me think. I realize that I now have more than one hero. The qualties of a hero are: kind, good hearted, willing to help others, the want to fight for what is right. Courage can be a nice quality, but is unnecessary to become a hero. Really the true heros are the people working behind the scenes in huge disasters (Hurricane Katrina) or even in everyday life. People who feed the homeless or petition against child labor. Those are my heros. I don't even know their names, but I still look up to them. I also have one more hero who isn't even human. She's a mother cat who ran into a burining building time and time again to save her kittens. If she couldn't get them all out she would die trying. (There are actually several cats who did this) And ther are plenty more animals who would die for their babies or owners. Doesn't it make you wish people were more like that?
