Most people voted for Bush because they thought America would be a safer place with him. But do you really think Kerry would allow terrorist to come flying into the US in hijacked 747s...oh i forgot Bush already did that...

I think it's even sadder that most of us just vote our fears.

Any election nowadays isn't who to vote for, it's who to vote against. Lesser of two evils.

I'm not conservative at all. I'm pro-choice, I believe gay marriages should be legal, I believe in full sex education (not just abstinence). The only support I have for Bush would be regarding the war. Any other situation I would be voting for a Democrat.

You have to ask this question with both of the candidates who are running. Will something bad happen in John Kerry is elected or could something good happen? Will something bad happen if George Bush is re-elected (assumming nothing bad happened in his first term as President) or will something good happen? I don't know the sure answer to either question nor does anyone else but all we can do is wait and see.

True enough. I may vote for Kerry, who knows? I have complete respect for whoever someone votes for.

i dont really know all the stuff about Kerry or Bush but from what my dad told me, he says that if he was an American and he would vote, he would vote for kerry. He also told me that he doesnt like Bush for a lot of reasons and two of those was because of the war thing and also, Bush doesnt really know how to speak english and he has bad grammar. However, between the two, my dad said even if he doesnt really know Kerry, he would still vote for Kerry coz he has a lot of good points.
For me, i agree... I mean, Kerry might be new but still he has good points and plus he is better in english than Bush.
And oh, anything can happen when it comes to politics.. it can be either good or bad. I think any government have those so i guess everyone will just be prepared for anything that might happen rather than question about it. Wink

I used to be for Kerry but knew I wouldn't care all that much if Bush won. And then I found this site:

Go to it. It's informative.

I don't think bush should be re-elected. He uses his religious beliefs to get votes, ignoring thewlaws of speparation of church and state. I aslo don't trust him. With the things he has done (such as the Patriot act) while trying to get votes, I don't want to see what he does when he doesn't need to impress people.

I also heard it quotes his advisors saying they don't pay attention to reality they make their own, so the US doesn't have to care what other countries think or abide by rules. it's a paraphrazse, but it covers it. I don't agree with that. The US will reach a point where we are no longer the World's Leading power and we don't want to ruin all of our allies.

i don't think Kerry is a big liar, either. He isn't a flip-flop either. he changed his opinion with new information. As bush should have. Bush refuses to believe that there weren't nuclear weapons and we made a mistake in invading Iraq. it wasn't our job.

i dont know which way to lean, kerry or bush. i feel like even though bush screwed up, he's aware of what's going on right now. kerry would be going into office which a lot less knowledge of the current situation. and i also believe kerry is a huge liar who tries to gain votes by repeatedly mentioning his purple hearts and war experience. he isnt the only veteran in the world with a purple heart, he acts as if it's what makes him special over everyone else. politics is all a scam these days. this election could mark this nation's downfall, it's sad.
