John Ashcroft has been introducing legislature that erodes away our rights, our fundamental freedoms such as due process and free speech(i.e. the USA PATRIOT ACT). Thankfully, the senate haulted a bill that would enlist deliverymen, truckers, etc. to spy on americans in their own homes. It wouldn't have mattered...the Attorney General is not a member of Congress and cannot, at least singlehandly, introduce legislation. When did the boards become censored again? Or did he just * out the word himself?

John Ashcroft has been out of office for over a year now. And even when he was in there, he couldn't introduce "legislature", or legislation for that matter. He's not a member of Congress.
