It's Encyclowinca again with a new list of bracelets! Here we go...
I just got this one today, it's from Alley Cat Allies (a feral cat organization) and it says "Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR)" on it, referring to the program that encourages the humane population control of feral cats: http://www.nationalferalcatday.org/marketplace.html The reason why it is orange is because orange is the official color of the feral cat cause.
Anyone a vegetarian/vegan in the UK? Then check this bracelet out: http://www.viva.org.uk/shop/ (it's on the right-hand side of the page near the bottom) I just discovered this one today! I like it, but I don't know if Americans can order there
This one was made for theanimalrescuesite.com 's 3rd anniversary, it says "Paws for the Cause" on it with the year 2005 and theanimalrescuesite.com website with 2 paw prints: http://www.gearthatgives.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/CTDStor...300b/3.0.44.10.7.1.1 You can get it in a set of 10, or if you buy a tank top from them, they'll give you one for free.
Here's another pro-literacy one, but this one is larger than the ones sold at Borders and Waldenbooks (they're in a youth size as far as I can tell, while that's good for me since I have small wrists, that may not be good for others). It's orange and it reads "Open Books Open Minds" and it has theliteracysite.com on it: http://www.gearthatgives.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/CTDStor...00b/16.0.44.10.7.1.1
I'm happy to hear that you two (bella and Euterpe) like the bracelets and elephants! The elephants at The Elephant Sanctuary will certainly appreciate it! (all the profits from the sale of the bracelets go to helping the elephants FYI)
And the masturbate bracelets...that's a little creepy to me, but to each their own I guess!
Euterpe, you could buy some t-shirt transfers that you can use with an inkjet printer and then make the design on Microsoft Word, and then print it on the transfer paper, iron it on, and voila! Your own designer tee. Or you could go to http://www.cafepress.com and design one there too and have it professionally printed. (you could even open an online store and sell them! OK, going too far...)
So far, I have the Reading is Magic one from Waldenbooks, the Never Surrender one, the Cultivate Peace one, the Paws for the Cause anniversary one, the Green at Heart National Wildlife Federation one, and the Trap-Neuter-Return one from Alley Cat Allies.
First of all, Sho, that's frickin' awesome. I always wanted a shirt that said "Earth is Over-Populated. Don't Fornicate - Masturbate!" But..nobody ever made one.
And I love elephants, too, Bella! I love 'em like a fat kid loves cake. I'm at this website now. I need this bracelet.
Hm. My school (Shanghai American School) and Hong Kong International School are making "RAISE THE ROOF" ones for Habitat for Humanity, but I'm not sure if you can buy the bracelets elsewhere. They're really cheap, at 10 RMB per bracelet (which is about $1.25)
*-- I don't know what awaits me in this love. I merely take your hand quietly and wish for it to last forever. --*
And yet another pro-animal bracelet, this one's for the elephant lovers: http://www.elephants.com/bracelets.htmhttp://www.lcanimal.org/alert/alert_116.htm The second link has an offer to get one for $2, I'm not sure how it works (since you have to email them), but if you want one, give it a shot! The proceeds benefit The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee.
OK, I think I got all the newest ones. By the way, the collector's paradise site is regularly updating their variety of bracelets so check there to see if they have any that I haven't listed.

Where the heck do you find all this stuff?
Oh I have my connections... But seriously, I found a few of those sites with a search engine, and the others from emails I get or websites I visit. It certainly adds up though, doesn't it?
I saw a TV ahow about how most Livestrong bracelets aren't produced by the cancer foundation. The money doesn't go to cancer research. To actually give money to the cancr foundation you can only buy them at Nike, the Discovery Store and two other places that I can't remember. So don't be fooled by other ones.
Live life as if there was no tomorrow and make tomorrow better than the day before.
Livestrong, Breast Cancer, Tsunami, Diabetes, ONE (this one is for fighting against poverty and AIDS), and Reading is Magic. You can find them at random places like 7-11, Build a Bear, and online websites.
