I have an idea. And I think it's a good idea. So bear with me here.
I want to start a new game on YN, called "I Dare You." The dares have to be something positive, something that helps to create a social benefit, or even something that helps us to bring a grin to somebody's face after a particularly crappy day.
So here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to start by daring hubbabaloo to write another NOISEmaker, both on this board and via NOISEmail, a sincere compliment. It doesn't have to be anything big, and it doesn't matter who it is. Oh, and hubbabaloo, I chose you because you share one of my ultimate heroes, Susan B. Anthony!
Once that NOISEmaker receives the compliment, s/he gets to DARE the next person to do something. Ultimately, it would be cool to dare people to do things like "Read to a child this week," or "Donate some clothes to a shelter." See what I mean?
If you don't want to play, you can always write back "Pass," but I think it will be a hoot. I'm passing it to you, ! Feel free to "pass," if you want. However, if you do accept, please remember to post both through NOISEmail and on this board.

I did something very similar, and now the dude thinks I have a crush on him. So I played on his assumption for a little fun, and today he made a pass at me. This is what kind-hearted people get.
Sorry that was the outcome of your dare. I wish it had turned out better.
thats happened to me too. i think wat would be better is if you walk over to someone who doesn't look like they have alot of friends and just say hi. i thnk i'd be scared of someone who just randomly walked up 2 me n said ur special

i couldn't actually figure out wat it was u were asking me to do and/ or how to do it. all u said was go see it. how, when where. i went to the site. it didn't clear things up almost at all
i dare everyone to fill as many bags as ur parents will let u. with food for your local food shelter. most ppl look for some big way to help the community but one grocery bag full of food every year for your entire life is alot of help actually. so go fill your bag for this year!!!! =D
i dare everyone here to write an article on "LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL". and i think everyone would be able to view life from any other's perspective. very simple.

Hey, it's been a while since we've had any dares! I think we should dare everyone to click like crazy for the Just 1 Click. It's almost over and there's only like 60% of the goal reached!

Great dares, MadamePresident and Sphinx!! I'm doing both... or rather, I already had thehungersite in my faves and click there, but I'll do yours, Sphinx!
I dare someone to plant a tree or flowers somewhere that could really use it. It's bound to rain on it this month! It's pouring every other day here..!

I'm doing this!
