Looks like that didn't happen Confused

Well since its Thanksgiving time...why don't we have the JUST ONE CLICK money be donated to a homeless shelter....since their are a large amount of homeless people in the U.S. it would be nice for us to help them out and maybe the money we raise can help pay for a REAL Thanksgiving dinner....theirs a national organization called HUD that might be a help to us but if anybody else knows of anything like this...i think it would be a good idea

So, when is the campaign going to start, any way? I was under the impression November would be the beginning of another campaign...

I think SADD would be better for around prom time because SADD is more high school aged kids than college, or so I thought. And SADD ISNT just about drunk driving anymore, remember. Prom actually incorporates many possible "destructive decisions"

Prom time is also a great time for a SADD J1C. A lot of my college friends are coming home for the december holidays.

I wasn't talking about MS. I thought that was clear. But you mentioned parties that teens supposedly go to. I personally don't know of anyone that does not stay home for the holidays. And prom would be a more appropriate month in my opinion.

benje, SADD is for and by youth. The motivation behind it is for the health of teens, not adults (and yeah, I understand that it would be for both). I'm just saying there might be better places for it to go.

AND HEY! WHERE IS THE J1C this month???!!! I thought there was going to be one! Frown

There are so many things we could help fund- the fight against breast cancer, AIDS. We could help Katrina victims get back on their feet, or help fund forests. So many things, but never enough money..

Hi! I had a good idea for just one click that would help a lot of people. I think we should donate money to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Resarch Foundation). My liitle sister and many other people have diabetes. Doing this would help to raise money for a cure.

Why? Most teens go to parties most often during this time. Most students do not have school during this time. Most homes have alcohol in the home during the holidays. Drugs, alcohol, stupid choices all happen most often during the holidays.

i know i'm getting ahead, but for december i really think we should do J1C for this project that's done by Samaratin's purse (
www.samaritanspurse.org
) it's called operation christmas child and what they do is people around the US pack up boxes of toys and stuff in shoeboxes and they're shipped around the world on chistmases to kids who don't normally get christmas gifts. but as for november, i like benje's idea on the Lisa Libraries i guess.
