More meat means more food. It's that simple. What's natural is that humans are exercising their physical and mental superiority over other species, such as chickens. I'm sure if there were a species more advanced than humans, they'd be pumping us full of steroids and harvesting our body parts for consumption. And of course, there'd be some of them who'd complain that they mistreat us humans, but there are people like that in every society. Especially now that we're pampered and able to survive on mere vegetation. Heh, ironic, no?

Gah! Why do you people always mistake my signature for an insult? If you're offended by my saying stupid people make my brain sad, that probably says something about you...
So you claim that it's NATURE to shoot chickens with steroids and feed them constantly as they're crammed in their cages.. then they get so fat that their legs literally BREAK? Oh PLEASE. That is anything BUT 'nature'! ... alright, i'm done with my rant, sorry. heh...

Are you kidding, unseen? Take a look in the environment section, and then try telling me there are no topics here on animal rights.

I totally support animal rights. Sure, we're higher up on the food chain, but you know what? That probably means something! God (or whatever higher power you believe in- i'm not racist or prejudice or whatever!) expects us to make the right choices, right? And I think that we're abusing the power we have over those 'below' us. Personally, I'm not a vegetarian but I wish I was. I think someone needs to take a stand for animals.

message for clpo13 who posted below this: um, 'animal rights' doesnt mean that you get to stop an owl from eating a mouse- thats nature's call. animal rights are rights against ppl using animal fur for products (animal fur farms skin animals ALIVE). get your head straight. i'm not stupid- you should reconsider who is.

Why do people insist animals have rights? Nature doesn't care if you have rights or not. Just once, I'd like to see someone go out to the forest and tell an owl not to kill mice because "mice have rights, too," and then see their face when the owl swoops down and swallows a field mouse whole.
