Summer is the perfect time to get a haircut and donate your ponytail to Locks of Love, Wigs for Kids, or a similar organization that makes hairpieces for sick kids. Has anyone donated hair this year? |

I'd do that, but every time my hair gets longer than two inches, I hack it off myself.

I haven't donated my hair this year, but I have done it on three seperate occasions in the past. My first time I got 14 inches cut off, it was so cool to think that my radical change in hairstyle would really help someone...instead of causing quite a job for the person sweeping the floors...  I think I'm sticking with a longer 'do for now...but the next time I get the urge to shorten my morning hair routine, we know where my ponytail is going to...
