How conceited. If God is how you speak, he is an arrogant idiot who sits on his high chair stuffed like a pig and choosing who to bring to heaven with him.

I am not saying that God doesn't love each person nor have I ever said anything remotely close to that. I thought that the purpose in which I conceived in creating this thread would be easily expressed and known. Now, I have a question for you. If we are not all children of God, than who is and why are others not?

I make NO bold claims. I only state what I know and what I've been taught. You ask where it is I get my information from and I laugh at your inablility to see that we both turned and looked in the same place. The difference is that I am trying to find answers to questions the Bible really can't answer and you, on the other hand, are using the Bible to argue a point that no one else seems to really care about.

most of that stuff comes from old testaments. i think the bible refers to people that way because those people have deeply sinned even if God has given them many opportunities. but they are stilll God;s creation which is why God sent Jesus cuz he wants to forgive his children and be able to have a relationship with them in heaven

If we are all loved by God and are ALL GOD'S CHILDREN, than why are there so many people that are hated because they don't fit into the typical Christian mold?

You make such a bold claim. Where do you get your information, it is true that God loves each person which is evident by him sending Christ to die for them. But we are not all children of God. Jesus clearly states that in John 8:42-47 42Jesus said to them(the pharisees) "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me. 43Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! 46Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me? 47He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God."

Well I'm not saying that that scrupiture is wrong, but it all depends on how you translate it. I think God was saying that we shouldnt associate oursleves with them to the extent where we start believing un-Godly things. But we should associate with them to save them.

So that scripture was wrong? That's the scripture my parents use against me when they don't want anything to do with me.

That is all...y'all can attack my post now. =)

okay, I will repeat it again. This is not the board about that...say that the Bible is crap (like pretty much everyone else on here) in a board meant for that purpose...

clpo: there are already boards on the Bible's supposed contradictions. I normally would say that I will argue with you on this one, but I'm frankly not in the mood and I should be studying...

okay, as all of y'all already know, I'm a Christian (duh) and I do know a lot about the Bible. I dont understand what hubbabaloo is talking about the chair and all. God has never come down to Earth, the only time you see God is when you are dying and are in judgment. You can talk to him, but not physically see him. I dont believe that "prophets" are any more than Christians. Preachers are here to just teach the word of God, not anything more. I dont believe that we need to confess to priests for forgiveness from the Lord - all that is is telling a man your sins. But of course that is just my opinion (so please dont rip my head off for it).

But no jazzey, we should associate with non-Christians. If we dont, then how are we supposed to show them God's love and miracles he made for us? Now, we shouldnt start to believe what they are saying - but not associating with them will never bring them to the Lord.

Non-Christians are treated badly because the Christian bible tells them to behave that way.

No "unclean person" or "idolater" will inherit the kingdom of God. (They'll all be going to hell.) Don't associate with them. 5:5-7
