Let’s look at your problems with the Bible.
First you said that the earth was not created in 7 days. I could not agree more, the earth is about 3.5 billion years old. The bible never claims that the earth was made in 6, 24 hour periods of time. It does say day, but there are many different meanings of the word day. The word day in Genesis is referring to a period of time of unknown length.

Second the bible never says that man is superior to woman. It says that both should each other in respect.

Which contradictions in the timing of the last super are you referring to?
And which different number of women at the tomb are you talking about.

Finally. The walls of Jericho did have wall. This is an archeological fact, and I would like to see tour source which says that it does not have walls.

Yes, the Bible does say that, which is my ultimate point. Jericho never had walls, so it cannot be the case that they fell down.

Could you please give me the source of this information?

In short, the Bible is not intended to be the scientfic, historic, or sociological truth. It was intended to be a metaphor that explained deeper spiritual truths to us. To simply take the Bible as a whole as literal scientific truth is to diminish its purpose and meaning. In effect, you cheapen the Bible by requiring proof like denser atmospheric condtions. And besides, it is not possible to take the whole of the Bible as literal truth, because otherwise you would be forced to confront the necessity of killing people, which is against Exodus 20. Similarly with slavery, and any number of moral problems. Clearly, you can only accept the New Testament teachings. In fact, the Old Testament was only included in the Bible because St. Ireneaus (sp?) thought that it would add the necessary historical perspective to understand the relevence of the New Testament.

Do you take everything literally, Nephilim?

I also have a suggestion for you, person to person. You need to stop and listen. You fill your head with your issues, and your words, you can't hear anything else anyone is saying. What we're trying to get across to you isn't getting there. You're only hearing it; you're not processing it. Would you pause for a second and try to listen to us?

It is from scientists critiquing the bible to see if this claim is actually true.

where's that again?

For example, can you give proof that a person could live 900 years? No you can't. Except for the Bible. There's an example.(Also this is just out of curiosity, I wasn't aware it said that in the Bible, where?)

My evidence that man could live 900 hundred years is not from the Bible. It is from scientists critiquing the bible to see if this claim is actually true, and I have already stated the book which has the actual evidence. Also the claim is made in Genesis.
If you bring up problems with the Bible I will always try to answer the problem while using the Bible as little as possible.

That, your response, is why I want to stop arguing with you. We've already gone over this. We're going around in circles. I can't argue with you because we have completely different mindsets.
For example, can you give proof that a person could live 900 years? No you can't. Except for the Bible. There's an example.(Also this is just out of curiosity, I wasn't aware it said that in the Bible, where?)

At least if you said it's all supposed to be taken symbolically, then okay, but you are not saying that, you are saying it should be taken literally...

So it's pointless. For you and for me. I can keep on saying the Bible does not count as proof and you will continue saying it is.

If the Bible is not proof then disprove it. Show me conclusive evidence that it is false. If complete random naturalistic effects are enough to explain how me have gotten to were we are then prove it.

Don’t just brush the debate aside and say that it is impossible for us to understand each other. If you sow me conclusive evidence that the Bible is false I will reject it. To my understanding however such evidence does not exist.
In the same way you should not just automatically discount what I have to say but evaluate the evidence and look at why you believe what you believe.

Because we are on too far different sides, we have two completely different view points, two completely different views even on what "proof and evidence" is(for me the Bible is not proof). So it's pointless. For you and for me. I can keep on saying the Bible does not count as proof and you will continue saying it is. I'll say I need proof of God's existance and you'll say the fact that I exist is proof in itself. Don't take it personally or anything but I'm just through.

ok can you back up anything you just said(in the previous post), with evidence? proof?

Yeah actually I can.

For the first item proof is not really applicable, unless we are going to can into question the powers of demonic Supernatural powers.

For the second point. There is evidence for theory that humans could have lived for longer periods of time. One of the main ones deals with the changing atmospheric conditions, and a denser atmosphere, early in the earth history, which would protect humans from deadly radioactive waves. There is an in depth look at evidence in the Book the Genesis Question, I can post some of the evidence from the book if you want.

Miracles. If god is all powerful then he can interfere with events on earth and raise people from the dead. So again we are looking not at something that we can do ourselves, but supernatural power.

Lastly, playing with cosmic play-do? Perhaps someone can clarify what exactly this means.

What do you want me to explain?

Everything involving talking snakes with legs, 900 year old humans, divine intervention, rising from the dead, playing with cosmic play-doh...I think the events I'm referring to as improbable if taken literally are pretty obvious.

Actually the entire bible can be taken literally and still be considered true.

Just too quickly go threw you list, I believe in the first instance you were referring to the serpent in genesis, the serpent was possessed by a supernatural force, Satan, and therefore could talk to Eve.

Next there is scientific theory’s for how man could have lived for periods of time like 900 years. The Book the Genesis Question has some details on this subject.

Devine intervention, and rising from the dead would both fall under the categories of miracles. Basically an all powerful God has the power over death.

And lastly, cosmic play-do? Not sure where you got that from.
