Who is Jesus? Better yet, who is God? Wouldn't it be wild to one day find out that God is Satan and vice versa? You know how some people are smart enough that they can play chess against their own self? Maybe God/Satan is the same way... (I wonder how many "holy rollers" just fainted... lol)

Gem's sig rocks... It went, I believe: "God is as real as I am," he said; and thus my faith was restored for I knew Santa would never lie.

lol I love that quote that someone had as their signature. I can't remember exactly how it went, but something like "'Of course there's a God.' Santa said." Hey, being the time of year it is, that's a great example. Kids believe in Santa simply because it can't/won't be explained to them. If there parent's tell them that there's a Santa they'll believe it. Finally, they get older and smarter and realize the truth.

umm raised catholic, but i believe that god is just a divine force....like fate. People need some kind of faith to explain "why?". I just think 'god" is the divine force that exists for the unexplainable. quote: (I wonder how many "holy rollers" just fainted... lol)

God is the one who made us... the earth and the universe... he sent his Son Jesus Christ to save us from sin through Mother Mary.. Mother Mary got pregnant with Jesus through the Holy Spirit and so thats why she is sometimes called the Virgin Mary. and thats it.... that is who God is and Jesus is.... Jesus is not a Prophet as some of you might think... but all in all, they are still considered as one, Jesus and God, i mean.

I have a picture of Shiva. There's also a bookbag at a gay & pagan bookstore with a picture on it, too.

Bella, those people PLAGUE Puerto Rico. THey're insanely annoying. I mean, my grandfather is Catholic and he has a sign in his porch that says "I worship the Devil" just so that they don't come to preach. And they still do. Root, there's a few books on that religion in a religious book store here. I've met a few followers and it sounds pretty cool but I never really knew what it was about, so thanks for explaining.

quote: Root, what is your religion?
i'm a Baha'i. a follower of Baha'u'llah, the most resent prophet from god. there's about 6 million of us, but most people haven't heard of us because we're so spread out(this was because of the violent persecution of it at the contry it originated from, Persia, now called Iran). we're accually the second most spread out religion after christianity, but most people think that's islam because they don't know we exist. we believe all true pophets came from the same and only god, and that the reason there are so many religions are that man needed new laws and teachings as he progressed socially and spiritually so each time man was ready, god sent a new prophet to make a new updaded religion. i could go on forever on how perfect my religion is (i love it), but i don't know how much you would want to read. so ask me if you''re intrested and i will continue. quote: How funny. Well, not funny, but interesting at least. I always thought that hell was eternal - what those Sunday school teachers or whomever always told me.
anouther example of why god sends new prophets, because as religions grow older they slowly become twisted and corrupted from the original wrightings and teachings of thier prophets.

You see that's the problem with some religions. If you know you love God, and are doing His works. You shouldn't be scared of Hell or etc. You shouldn't be scared into a group. It is rediculous, it should be the own person's decision. I tire of saying it.

My dad became a Christian because he was afraid of going to Hell. I think that it's really sad that a religon has to gain followers by scaring them into the group.

Root, what is your religion? Aguagon, I feel the same as Ikki. I love and hate your LONG posts. Hoever, the gross imagery inbetween your points made me smile. I sat there for about 30 seconds trying to figure out how that applied before I read on. quote: the bible doesn't accualy say hell is an inexapeable place where you suffer forever

thankyou for looking it up. it seems hell is kinda like a jail that god holds you in. untill he knows you have learned to truely want to be good, good enough to get out at least (which i have no idea how much that is, but seeing how god is perfect i'm sure it's the right amount).
