I don't need spiritual healing. I'm fine as it is.

What is wrong with you? Why is it that you feel the need to search for healing by God? If you don't mind my asking...

Well, if there is a God, I'm fairly sure he or she didn't intend for me to become a skeptic. But I'm happy (more or less) being a skeptic, so things could be said to have worked out for me, if that makes any sense.

Smile Ok, well, EQB pretty much said what I would say. We all have free will. That is what God has intended. He wants everyone to be able to make their own choices and develop faith in their own time. God may have a will for you, but you still have a choice in what you want to follow. What priorities you have and what you find to be most important to your life. Faith in God is based entirely on your free will.

No, but He did intend you to have the free will that allowed you to become a skeptic. Plus, you are happy in your present state. God could very easily have made us all believers, but that would have been the epistemological equivalent of rape. And that is definitely not love.

hey, so i obviously haven't been on here in a while, and so i don't really know whats going on anymore. Sorry about that. a lot of stuff just hit at one time, and i've not really had time for much of anything. sorry. but i just wanted to say that you guys should read some stuff by Josh McDowell.(evidence that demands a verdict, a ready defense, more than a carpenter, or just about anything else.) Or Francis Schaffer. (he is there and he is not silent is a favorite of mine, but really just about anything.)k, that's all.

live life with love.

Things may always work out, but not always the way God intends, it would seem.

Im sure that many people feel this at times. Just because things aren't going our way doesn't mean that God forgot about us. The plan we have for ourselves isn't as great as the one God has for us, so we hang strong, and keep praying. Even if we don't get what we want, pray for the strength to overcome it. I promise things always work out in the end. I've been through soo much stuff in my life and I always come out of it all, just fine and stronger than what I ever was before. Smile

Thank you, Brehon, but it's of no avail as Hydrok doesn't "give a fuck" about his generalizations. Roll Eyes

And they are indeed still called the Franciscans, the Benedictines, the Dominicans, the Augustinians, the Carmelites, etc. The Roman Catholic, Anglican, and Eastern Orthodox Churches still have mendicant religious orders, and they live not in semi-poverty but in true poverty. And we're not just talking about monastics who live in community but also the oblates and associates who commit themselves to the rules of life of these groups.

If you dont belive God its ok..even Satan Belives in God
I don't want to judge you, because it's not my place. Have you ever thought that maybe you're making yourself depressed? I'm not saying that God/Jesus can't help you, because he openly offers you his help, comfort, and guidance. He's always there even if you feel like he's not. Then again, you're not going to go through life without problems, this isn't heaven. Get counseling. Get biblical counseling. If you go to church, let someone know about your condition so that you can have someone helping you. Sometimes God indirectly helps us through others.

I'd rather live in hell and go to Heaven than live like heaven and go to Hell.
