I think Shade is talking about chat talk. As in using "lol" instead of "haha."

Sex is sometimes used as ritual to raise energy, often on Midsummer's Night, the symbolic union of the God and Goddess. That would be Wicca's standpoint on it.
But we all know Wicca is a bunch of bullshit now don't we. The only energy sex raises is the endorphins it releases in your brain, lol. Also I disagree with your bookmark on the part about stockpiling weapons. Stockpiling weapons is a great pastime.

Make me. :P Oh, and I wasn't making fun of you, Speed. I was laughing at myself because I hadn't thought of it in that way. You raise an interesting point and it is in fact another way of looking at it. I suppose I shouldn't be so literal all the time and try to look at things in different perspectives.

Who claimed that? I said "nearly all" since I don't know about a great deal of religions. The only one I could think of possibly fitting is Satanism because it (or at least a form of it) involves basically worshiping yourself, which means you can set the ground rules. Stanism also fits, I suppose.

It doesn't disqualify shamanism. *raises eybrow* On what basis are you claiming it disqualifies all religons?

Yes, Kurt Vonnegut is amazing. I forgot to say it was him. It's from Cat's Cradle (a bloody brilliant book) if anyone cares.

Yay, Satanism. I have all of LaVey's books somewhere - quite an interesting read. LTR, that is such an amazing quote.

"The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done"."

Doesn't that disqualify nearly all spiritual paths...? Well, except Satanism. The good kind, I mean.
