People tend to think that the Holy Trinity refers to three different gods. However there is only one God. Jesus, called the Son of God, was God in the flesh. Some people question as to how God could be, well, God, but Jesus at the same time. It really is not a hard thing to understand if you know who God actually is. He is Almighty, All-knowing, and Unchanging. He was, He is, and He always will be. Anything is possible for Him. So yes, He can in fact create a human that possessed all the characteristics of Him. The third "member" of the Trinity is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is actually God's spirit who lives inside you once you are baptized for the "remission of sins." This spirit is a guide that lives within you your whole life to keep you on the straight and narrow towards an eternal Heaven with the Lord Jesus Christ, or God if you will. Jesus is the "image" of God. quote: Christian. I'm not really a denomination. I don't think my church is one, but it's nothing crazy. It just teaches the word of God, and to love everyone. They don't tell us to tell people they're going to Hell. They do tell us to try and bring people to Jesus, but in a loving and gentle way.
My church does exactly the same and I love it. I believe it is how Jesus actually wanted for us to be. Loving and accepting
Ours is a world of nuclear giants and ethical infants. We know more about war than we know about peace, more about killing than we know about living. We have grasped the mystery of the atom and rejected the Sermon on the Mount. -Omar N. Bradley

I believe there is a god for reasons of my own but i don't believe that we should gather around and show people how spiritual we are. and when you think about it....no one really knows god. but every bible says there is basically one god. so what religion is the right religion?

i call my self a catholic because i was raised that way and most of my values are based on those beliefs. but theres a lot of things i beleive in that are against catholism. for example i beleive in gay marriag and i beleive animals have souls. its kind of like going into the starbucks of religon and getting catholism with a shot of buddism and zen.

Im a zen bhudist. In this religion, there is no god, which is why it is so unique. Bhudism is all about letting go of your wordly desires and living in the present, and to overcome all your flaws over the course of your life. In simple terms, it is seeing the true beauty of nature.

i voted Christian, but ever since I've been old enough to understand what my church believes and realized that a lot of the people of my church are the biggest hypocrites I've ever met, I don't really know.

I wouldn't say I'm Christian but I do believe in God. My theory is God is too big for religion

Autumntonight, why did you choose Deism? I have a personal problem with that particular faith, and I'm curious as to your reasons.
