Since we all are that Christians are huge jerks (and we no we can't complain about jews and muslims because the are minorityies in America) I thought I would start a board where FML and all who agree with him can complain about Christians being jerks. No complaints about any other religion please, Christians are the worst.

you are complaining about the discrimination of religions and so what do you do? discriminate and be very rude and heartless about christianity, think before you do something.

you can't let one or a few experiences with Christians ruin your view of them, sure some are complete hypocrits...some are just plain scary, but believe it or not there are Christains that are nice and who care and who cannot wait to see Jesus on the day that they all go home

what my point is A group of Christians cannot represent ALL of the Christians in the whole world

I am a christian. But just because you aren't of my faith, I am not going to push any of my beliefs upon you like lottie13 did. What god or thing you believe in is absolutely none of my business.

But what I do want to say is that you shouldn't base every Christian person on just those that you've met. Some are complete bible thumpers, who quote the word in every other sentance. And some blow things way out of proportion and turn an innocent sentance into something from the devil. You can't base one person on somebody else that you dont even know.

And if your such a "Bush Supporter" you should know the he is a Christian and bases many of his "great decisions" on his faith, as most right wing presidents in the past have claimed to do, as well. just so you know.

There are so many definitions of Christianity these days... it's no wonder so many different people call themselves "Christians". It's true that there are a lot of Christians who are jerks, but that can be said for any religion.
It's like saying that all Muslims are jerks, because some of them happen to be terrorists. Or saying that all people of a certain race are jerks, because you happen to have met one less than desirable.
It's not even reasonable to say that the Christians YOU have a problem with were probably "fake Christians."
There are many faces to Christianity and therefore a judgement based on just a piece of that would be insufficient.
Just as there are some jerky Americans, jerky Presidents, or jerky boyfriends or girlfriends, there will be jerks in every society/group.

All Christians are not jerks just like all people of other religions aren't either.
