Could be, but I think that's less likely. It is a self-centered religion, but if you ask a random person they would probably call it evil and "devil worship". Either way I don't really like Satanism. Although in that religion stupidity is a sin, so thats great.

Satanism..... Satan is the figure representing evil and sin in Christian theology. Anyone who worhsips Satan is retarded. And if Satanism isn't the worship of Satan, it shouldn't be called Satan-ism. As for the more modern Church of Satan, ok fine do whatever, you guys aren't that bad. But why have Satan in your name? That just seems to invite pejudice.

Then how can you say you don't agree with it? With ignorance comes fear, and with fear comes hate. Learn something before you decide you don't agree with its teachings. Isn't that common sense? I learned about Satanism before I started disliking it. Up until then, I retained an open mind. I know that you think that I don't like Satanism because a lot of people think it's rituals and stuff like that, but let me tell you something. Religions that have those sort of rituals, such as wiccanism, I have absolutely NOTHING wrong with. Today a good friend of me told me that she was a Wiccan, and she probably was afraid I'd blow up, but I just told her, that's completely fine. I really don't care. Wiccanism, though I don't agree with it, doesn't disturb me. SATANISM does.

i think people think satanism is strange and wierd because there not prepared to understand the world through the eyes of a satanist, they feel that if you are a satanist you are evil and want to kill everything, also society is extremly narrow minded about things it doesnt understand....i do think though, that to be a satanist you do have to believe in god or atleast christianity, because can there be a satan with out a god?

i think people judge satanists badly because no-one understands or whants to understand there point of view on religion, god or anything for that matter...i do think though, that if you want to be a satanist you have to eblieve in god or christianity because satan was first mentioned in teh bible
