What type of school are you in?

I've heard of things like this. Happens in areas where the school board isn't threatened by enough parents to not get re-elected.

I believe there are official laws in France and such, where the display of any religous symbol at all is banned in public schools.

Both situations are just obscene, and grounds for some sort of uprising, ha.

My school is public, we pray with our school teams and at pep rallys and we have silent moment of prayer on the intercom every morning. WE have uniforms and I live in a small town.

Because the Muslims aren't actually practicing their religion. If (this only applies to some) they got 15 minutes from class every few hours to *pray* in the direction of Mecca, THAT would be prayer. Same with Jewish people. Some wear Yamakas (spelling?) but they aren't PRAYING.

I agree with zzyzx.

And my Power of Prayer club prays in a school classroom every time we meet.

Well, anyways--
Prayer is allowed in schools, ergo this thread is pointless and misinformed.

The Catholic Church came first and then it broke in to sections like Greek and Russian Orthodox as well as the Prodestant break off lead by Martin Luther this resulted in the many churhces we see today but Catholicism was there first

Wait what? I thought that Catholics, Methodist, Lutheren, etc. were all different denominations of Christianity. Protestants are all of the Christian denominations that aren't Catholic (as in all of the ones that broke off the Catholic church.) Correct me if I'm wrong.

Proof?

You're a rather nice Christian, telling people to kiss your ass. What a nice example of Christian morals.
