I personally find the Baptist church very unforgiving and I don't agree with hardly any of their teachings. What's your view on the Baptists?
P.S. I do have Baptist friends in case you think I won't associate with them.

Also if you live in California what is the view on Proposition 8 in your town? Yes or No?

I died alongwith my family that night. I will NVR4GET that pain, ever.

Well, now I'm actually quite embarrassed. Although, in my defence, I don't think my overblown and pompous grammar based rant was beyond the pale of reason, was it? I do understand that text speak is speedy, and that has everything to recommend it (except vocabulary) but surely there is a point at which it is either simply ludicrous or just bad spelling.

Well, krazykayla, I now know that the world is cruel because of the bizarre fashion in which you post. I understand that text-speak is good for efficiency, makes writing things faster and so on, but why on earth have you put 'k' and 'z' into perfectly ordinary words which don't need them, like 'kruel', 'iz', 'sinz', 'kome', reazon' etc?

quote:
dont c y u think we r so bad. u probly aint got ur factz str8, nd i dont appreciate it that u judge us.

This is hilarious. Just think about it.

quote:
we are bad, evryone iz bad, do u not c how evil nd kruel this world iz? do u think itz perfect? well hate 2 break it 2 u but no itz not.

What exactly does this have to do with baptising? If anything, it is a reason not to baptise, because the 'unclean' world is inescapable. If everything in the world is evil, what does it matter that you have dunked yourself in some symbolic liquid - what does symbolism have anything to do with real suffering?

quote:
truth hurtz nd it needz 2 b heard..........wether u wanna hear it or not.

How, in anyway, does this truth hurt? Surely, if it is true that we need to be baptised to escape from uncleanliness, this would be a good thing, and therefore not painful at all. Hmm. I'm a tad confused. Either that, or you're a tad confused, viz. Wolfie's

you're stupid.

My religion doesnt even belive in baptising babies anyway lol. it doesnt even give the child a second chance they just get one shot and one screw up and no salvation.

thatz all i hav 2 say on the matter.

I have to agree with wolfie on this baptizing children is wrong. In order to be truly be baptised a person must hve two things done in order for it to be a real baptism.

1. Be fully emersed in water.

2. Believe that Jesus Christ is the son of god with all of ur heart.

Babies cant possibly complete the second step(should actually be the frist step) because they have no comprehension of what is happening till they can understand that he/she must believe everything in the bible is apart of his/her worship/service to god.

Baptism is a good idea; they just don't hold them under long enough.

hmmm could be the fact that they dunk young children under the water. could be that in order to go to heaven you have to admit that you are bad. could just be plain old intolerance towards others that makes me dislike them.

Wow. Prop 8 certainly isn't vaguely worded...I'm surprised it's not one of those "vote yes to vote no" deals where everyone against it accidentally votes for it because it's so confusing.

Or maybe that only happens in Washington.

Also, according to the numbers on Wikipedia, the opponents of Prop 8 have contributed about the same amount of money as the proponents of it. It's just that the opponents are much more vocal.
