i do - religiously with love and fear. every week, God willed it. i love going to church, not because of sermons but topics.. very beautiful topics and mysteries of the Bible unfolding our very eyes and heart- it is quite overwhelming. the topics that are not commonly opened to people that should be revealed..and i thank God for every bits of wisdom and knowledge that He is unraveling.

Check out Spanish university's, you'll learn another language and that's allways a bonus. The Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona isn't a very well known institution but it's one of the most modern in Europe, and aside from that it's practically free when compared to schooling in other countries; you shouldn't have any trouble getting in if you applied, an american student has really good chances as long as your grades are half decent

Actually it is very good. I think they have close ties with the Leeds General Infirmary Hospital next door, which is the best hospital in the county. I am sure there are better places to study medicine though. Prices are quite steep for foreigners as well, the University takes around 2,500 international students a year.

How many Durham students does it take to change a light bulb? 16,981 1 to change the light bulb and 16,980 to whine about not getting in to oxford or cambridge how is the medical program at Leeds? I've heard nothing but good things about european medschools but nothing about specific ones except one in Norway

History or Medicine I'd love to study in Europe especially in History because there's so much History there. For example it's not exactly a day trip from a US school to visit the battle grounds william wallace walked on or the tower of london.

University of Washington in Seattle. Evil secular public schooling for me. I enjoy it a lot, except for the occasion irritating activist person who yells at me for wearing a leather jacket or for ignoring their pleas to learn more about Joseph Smith. That's what I get for going to college in Seattle. That and the added bonus of being looked at oddly for not drinking coffee... I kid. I really do like it there. The perfect mix of history (it was originally founded in the 1861) and technology (nearly the whole campus has wireless internet access).

I'm at the University of Detroit Mercy. http://www.udmercy.eduThe campus isn't much, and I wouldn't dream of staying there when given the option to live at home, but it's a great school. It's private (Roman Catholic-half Jesuit, half Mercy sisters) and because of that, we have small class sizes (liberal arts classes are maxed at 40 students; most fall at under 20; private and semi-private instruction is included in tuition and is not uncommon). I love being part of a smaller community, so it's the perfect school for me.

Not to stay though, the food is awful. quote: Wow, neat. I've never went to a private school so I have no idea what it's like. You've got to remember that the main difference is that the school is on the British and not the American education scheme. Other than that it means that I am forced to share a room with a variety of nausiating people and no chance of escaping them. So it's fun. quote: The Houses are beautiful, though. *pets buildings* Ahem. On the outside maybe. On the inside, well... Since this thread is just another 'church' thread, I am going to hyjack it and change the topic to schools. Where do you guys go? Do they have a site that I can see, so that I can google at your school? And do you enjoy them? Apologies to bratboy, but *wields a gun* everybody get down, I am hyjacking this thread.

Wow, neat. I've never went to a private school so I have no idea what it's like. From what I've seen though, constant preaching doesn't convert many people; it's the subtle teaching and service that really gets under their skin. Not that I'm good at that, at all. The Houses are beautiful, though. *pets buildings* Ahem.

oh, Brehon you posh bastard! this is a far cry from my public highschool days. My primary school had alterior religious motives, the head-master would often read bible stories in assembly and we'd be made to sing god-songs. I, and non of my friends ever took it seriously though. And this country is better off without Christianity's backward and frightenng preachings.

Yeah, you can see the school site: http://www.kings-school.co.uk/The school claims that we are the oldest in the world, but I think they're just saying that. Oh, and to add to the church going we have a Christian themed 'assembly' every two days. Despite the constant preaching, there is a low level of conversions, and the only time that the Sunday service becomes anything other than a time to covertly sleep is the confirmation service, when most people don't have to go.

I used to/still do kinda...go to church. I go to the Apostolic Faith Church...not to be confused with the NEW apostolic faith...not us. Anyway, so my family's becoming one of those 'holiday' church going families. It's weird because I've been going my whole life. But...so it goes. I like my church pretty much.
