Extreme Christians are the plague that drove me OUT of the religion.

Hi. I am an extreme Christian, but not in the way that you're talking about. I live for Christ. I'm not afraid to stand up for him... talk to people about him, trust him. But I know what you're talking about. I also get annoyed with Christians that think that every detail of their life has to be perfect for Jesus. I do believe what Ephesians 4:1b says... "I urge you to live a life worthy of the call ing you ahve received", but I don't think that you have to go overboard with that. Its wonderful as long as its Jesus in you, and not you in you. Anyhow, i'm done now ^_^

I know, there's the christian ministry project where you go overseas, and believe me, it's good in heart, but they are actually persuading the africans to be christians like themselves. They bring them medicine, clothes, food, and water. So, the africans automatically think that sense these rich americans came in with all of this stuff, it must be because of their religion. we better change it
the fact of the matter is, that this is partly why africa does not trust us, they think we are liars. coincidence? i think not!

how does the dating thing have anything to do with extremist christians? i know a lot of people who arent allowed to date til a certain age, but their parents arent extremists or anything.

so she loves her faith that much more. so what? i agree with you on several aspects. like i go to a Christian School and its like harry potter is evil. i personally think the books are written very well and hold the audience. very good literature.
i know alot of my friends cant date until they're 16. that is a load of crap. it is not an age issue at all. that is an issue that is left up to the maturity of the kid.
