What tradition of Buddhism were you considering Amp? I'm really intrigued by Vajrayana Buddhism, but at this point I don't think I will officially become a Buddhist. I consider myself to be an Agnostic/New Age with Buddhist influence.

Spiritual beliefs are a really personal issue. Only you know what is right for you when it comes to something like this. Your parents might not support your decisions, but it's your life. No one can force you to believe something, nor can they stop you from believing.

This reminds me of that Independent Woman song by Destiny's Child. Question: Tell me what you think about this? And so on. Anyhoo, do what you want. It's your life, your choice.

Of course, you have to remember that white people can't possibly ever be Hindu or Muslim, and blacks have to be Southern Baptists, and Middle Easterners could never good Catholics or Christians. I don't believe any of that, of course, but I know people who do, which is highly disturbing, and makes me wonder about their intelligence.
The more you know, the less you don't know.

Yes. Ifinally told my parents not too long ago that I'm not a Christian. They didn't like it and I think they're still in denial but they can't make you believe something if you don't want to. And it shouldn't matter if you're a different race. If you believe the same things what does it matter.
