Just because I would like to confuse the hell out of some people...

I am a Christian and I can see completely how everyone could be right in their belief system.

Let's put it this way: If someone is a wonderful, kind, hard-working, compassionate, etc. individual is there any reason why he/she should go to hell or any other kind of bad afterlife place for any reason?

I apologize for my laughter outburst earlier, but I had to say something.

All Gods are different. Some may be similar and what they stand for may be similar, but all are different. Each stands for different ideas and versions of "right" and "wrong." And because there is so much diversity between these gods, they cannot be the same God.

ChrissyLynn also mentioned that there are differences between gods.

Saying that all gods are in fact one god is like saying democrats and republicans are really just one party.

It's crazy. And it causes a fracas.

i just cant believe that all "believed in" Gods are the same, i am Christian so i dont even believe there are any other Gods than the Christian God.....but thats beside the point and a whole other debate i have had on YN more times then i can count.

I don't get what's so funny about that quote. I could believe it. There is a main God to many, aye, but did you ever think that that God could show many faces, many personas? Therefore, all gods are one God.

Now what is so wrong/funny about that?

How do you know? Do you have concrete evidence that religious plurality is false? You can't just say "that's wrong" when you don't know for sure. Maybe we've had it backwards these past two thousand years and everyone is really worshipping Dog, not God.

Right and wrong is relative anyways. The universe isn't black and white.
