We compare christianity and all the other usual suspects constantly. Let's... for the sake of keeping things fun try something a little different. I challenge you to create an argument against and just plain consider the below moral code. Read them well and have fun

Is religion solely about worship? Look at Islam, for example. Islam is more than just a religion; it's a way of life, with rules to govern every aspect.

The Ferengi Rules of Acquisition are the same. Every Ferengi lives according to those rules, so it is a religion at least in a certain sense.

Fight back. It's the only way to survive.

mmm but if it's a cultural core like this is it really that different from an actual religion?

As a cultural core? Every culture can have its values and ideals. But if these are guidelines for worship, then that's another story.

Well my sig isn't the topic here and the sig itself isn't a reference to religion. It's saying that I'd rather die fighting as a freeman then live under the heel of a dictator

I think it is beter to live on your knees because god is more that a religion he is someone to comfort you when you are alone or sad and he is someone for everyone to blame everything on good or bad
(usually bad more than good)

If you want to do the fun stuff, you have to go through the hard stuff

Well I'm not particularly opposed to any of this. But for the sake of argument, people who are driven by money are pretty shallow.

1001st Rule of Aquisition the opportunity might not be there later so make your deals quickly

(made up under the unwritten rule: when no appropriate rule applies... make one up)
