Battling back and forth about faith or the lack of? Whether there is a God or if Jesus God? If all of these people that keep on making posts about "Confused on faith", "need faith", and "praying" can't find the help on 4 pages about religion, I guess they are out of luck. Also, anyone can tell me or anyone else how wonderful God is all day long... and I'll laugh at you. Quit.

Lol, this thread, jazzey, has become some wicked kind of irony. To answer your question, yes. It is boring. Boring, and yet, endlessly entertaining. Kind of like watching whales jump in and out of water. I love God! ::splash.:: Go eat glue ::Splash.:: Good times.
That was a great answer. lol...YOu are the coolest newbie. AND you are from Jersey! That is SO COOL. New Jersey pride Love, Scott (the origional!!!)

Amen. Would you mind if I start using that, word for word, in day-to-day conversation, northstar? It just articulates everything I've been trying to say so well. quote: Originally posted by jamaica17: People who dont believe in God or in anyone higher than us, human beings, are probably just lost souls.
Jamaica, the problem with this line of thought is that it works under the presumption that believe in God is synonymous with... ...oh screw it, I might as well talk to my bird.
And then, as the books were told, Fina replied: "A can of worms, my dear friend? What has this to do with reason?"

You're talking about the movie where the girl gets pregnant attempting to cure her boyfriend, right?
Right, that's the one. I think I thought it was R because I probably didn't want my fiance's son to watch it with me. lol He's 14, and can't watch a movie without talking through the whole thing. Sometimes I "accidently" tell him that just about any movie is "R". Babie would be "R" if he was trying to watch it with me. lol I know that's bad.

Instead, you try to change yourself for the better. But i guess, you and like the rest of those stubborn people just want hostory to repeat itself and just sit back and watch the world unfold doing nothing to promote good influence.
No, they choose whether to change or not. You know, there is something called "free will" you should read about. quote: This coming from someone who'd like to see a return to the 1500's?
Oh hell yeah. I'd marry a king and accuse her of witchcraft and laughs as she burns at the stake. quote: Go eat some krazy glue, jamaica.

quote: You're a funny one, jamaica... you seem to think that violence and "obscenity" are recent trends, as though they're purely contemporary manifestations of our society's imminent decay.
Thanks for thinking im funny... But really, yes, they are recent trends as well as the past. im just trying to tell and preach one at a time how we could make our future a better one by not following the bad examples of the past and instead try to turn it to good. People are just being stubborn, making all these past trends survive into the present time and making it as an excuse that history repeats itself. Yes, you can repeat history but only those good ones, not the bad ones. Do you really think that people would just want their "bad history" to repeat itself??? If for example, you were thrown in jail for drugs, would you repeat the same mistake again??? NO!! Instead, you try to change yourself for the better.
