I recently got back from a retreat with my church and it was amazing how many people came out and told there stories of temptation and how they fought not to fall into that. What was more amazing was that many of the teens made a shocking confession......that they had been baptised and saved and did not even know the Lord as there savior. Many explained how they just could not understand why it was such a big deal to believe. Alot of those teenagers got resaved that night , but i still believe that there is some part inside of them that does not see what God has done for us. I would like to hear your opinion on how you see God. I am not ridiculing anyone who is not a believer I just want to hear some different sides of the story!Thank You!!You are free to say your opinion!!

To explain, Baber. Why did the sun rise? Because God(TM) brought it up! Why did people get sick and die? Because they made God(TM) unhappy! And so on. However now, science has explained most of that. The Earth rotates. Bacteria causes sickness. So God(TM) has become outmoded. He is useful now only as a safety blanket for people who are afraid to die, or afraid of what comes after death.

I could type the long version of my beliefs...but I won't. In short, I used to believe in God(TM) the way Christians do, but then I realized it was all a load of chickensh*t and I became a deist, because deism makes a whole lot more sense than Christianity does. In other words, I do believe in a Creator of some sort, but not the God(TM) of the Bible. The Creator I believe in doesn't mess with Earth and we don't mess with him. Prayer is wishful thinking and miracles are coincidences. God(TM) isn't needed like that any more. Did I miss anything?

No, its kind of hard to see cause it is so small. It's Jimmy Buffett.
Ohhhh! Way cooler than Michael Bolton. I was at one of those restaurants Jimmy Buffet inspired? Cheeseburger in Paradise. Good food.

In my opinion, the most ideal religion is Buddhism. It does, however, require a lot of self-control, that of which I have little.
So, with that said: I am at the moment an agnostic universist. Thank you and good night. *theatre bows melodramatically*
Can't disagree with that logic

My feelings on the subject is that nobody can tell you how your relationship with God should be. I almost never go to church. I admit that. But I believe God wants me to live life to the fullest. That's how I worship God. Not by going to a temple. Of course everybodies relationship with 'im is personal.

Wow...you're really nice. That's really refreshing. Anyway, back to the subject. I think God exists. That's really all I think about Him in general...of course I have other opinions concerning Him but..okay, as stated in previous posts, my brain is mush tonight. I'll get back to you on this later.

Jesus is a great friend He gives me peace every time I ask for it. He has a great sense of humor He's my peacemaker, heart healer, soul soother, joy giver, awesome friend, and savior I can take part in debates, be mocked by nonbelievers, and even listen to people try to convince me that God doesn't exist... and I actually enjoy it because he's right there the whole time. Pretty hard to be friends with someone who doesn't exist. Its like... watching an incredible storm blow and rage, when you are safe in a sturdy building. My relationship with him is solid, so I can stand in the fire of bombarding doubt and counter-arguments and be at peace Give thanx to the LORD, our God and King, his love endures forever! I'm also interested in hearing many people's thoughts/beliefs/personal theories about God!
